Christopher Sherman is a Senior Vice President and Financial Advisor at UBS in Boston. For over 30 years he has served as the primary source of investment advice and wealth management for his clients. However, there is more to Chris than his success in the financial industry. He is an active volunteer in his town of Duxbury, as Vice President of the Duxbury Rural & Historical Society, Regional Co-Chairperson for the Fresh Air Fund of New York City, a lector at Holy Family Parish as well as being the former announcer at high school football and lacrosse games.

Eight years ago, after hearing one of many success stories from a HomeStart client, Chris joined the board and has been an active member ever since contributing on the Governance and Development Committees as well. Chris’s enthusiasm has led to the recruitment of three more members since joining the Board.

“Homelessness is all around us, it’s not simply the people you see in Boston who are only 10 percent of the homeless population, there are homeless people or people about to be homeless in Plymouth, Cambridge, even in suburbs like Duxbury. If HomeStart is successful, it is a model that can be implemented nationally and put an end to homelessness.”
